Gerina-Piller
Her birthplace was Roswell on March 29, 1985. Her name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson has Mexican parents Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Stevenson is American and has Mexican-American heritage. Her desire to play sports began as a small toddler. Gerina first started golfing at fifteen years old. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School for her secondary education. As a high school student, Gerina won in the New Mexico golf state tournament. As a volleyball player, she participated in state championships. In the year 2003 she was enrolled in the University of Texas. She was the only winner of all competitions she participated in during her senior years. During her undergrad professional career, she took home her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.
